NAVMAN 4460 and UX50

HI: I recently purchased a NAVMAN 4460 GS for use with my clie (UX50). Generally I have been happy with the unit and supplied Smart ST. V2 software.

Now for the BUT....

But, the unit has a couple of annoying habits. The clie seems to lose the Bluetooth signal from the GPS at random intervals from 30 seconds to 30 minutes. Also, if I am stationary in the car for more than a couple of minutes the GPS seems to switch off or go into standby mode requiring me to restart the unit and navigate through several layers of smart st menus to reconnect the GPS.

Does anybody else have these problems or is it just me?

Also, does anyone know if it's possile to get the SmartST software to automatically reconnect to the GPS following a signal drop.
