Hi there, just going the road of installing TT5 on the mini SD card. can not find the setup or tomtom Icon.
Is there sothing I have missed, a drief recap so far.
1/ traferied the 10 folders copy and paste ( not drag and drop)
2/ Set up bluetooth with Bt device
3/ looked for TomTom icon in start" it says" but now would it get there
without runing a program??
4/ looked on SD card in folders TomTom all I see is a file (data.chk) and nbo TomTom in of the other folders??
5/ I go and look on the FAQ on TomTom, but if anyone can though any lit on the subject it would be nice.
End of round ONE  or it could be  |

Your procedure sounds overly complicated. Just use the standard setup program, with the MiniSD in a card reader of your PC.

But tomtom mobile came on a SD not Mini sd so you have transfer then does it matter how its done via a card reader or via the Activesync.
The try to run the program (start) the whille bit comes up for a few seconds then nothing?? back to wear I was three days ago. |

when you copy the SD card contents to the PC make sure no files are hidden in Windows File Explorer

I downloaded TTM 5.2 update run that then inported maps & voices activated with product code and I away, GPS reciever works fine also.
Nice to see somthing working out.  :D |
