Confused about Map update

I have a 700 with software v6.15. My map version is 606. The matrix on the map forum shows that the latest version for my software is 650. How do i update to this? I've been through the Tomtom website and apart from buying a complete map i can't see how it can be done. Any ideas????

you have to buy the complete map as free updates are not available.

Ther is NO complete map available for the 700 - either new or update.

The western Europe map being sold by TT is the one that is sold on a 1GB SD card. This is similar to the one in the 710 It does not cover Poland or Czech Republic. It may also have some other bits missing to cram it onto the card.

the seven individual maps are bigger cos each one contains the major roads of europe data the seamless map dosnt have to.. it also has southern ireland on it..

i dont think any bits are missing as such..
