Hi All

Apologies if this is the wrong forum - I couldn't find a better place to put it, and it does relate to Navigator.

I need to extract the Navigator .cab files in Windows. Normal routines such as winzip / winrar don't work, as they don't see the .cab file in ppc format. I did have a routine to do this (a trial version), but I've lost it during a windows re-install and I can't remember the name of it.

So if anyone knows of any software that lets me do this (in effect extracting the Navigator.exe from the tomtom install cab, for example), that would be great.

Many thanks

Si.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. I'm installing TT5 on a Mio C510 - the ttn.cab file does not install for whatever reason - the navigator.exe file has to be gotten from the ttn.cab file by hand, and transferred to the Mio. I'm not looking to extract the .cab files FROM the .exe (I've already done that).

I've done this before - it's just that I've lost the program I've used to extract Navigator from the ttn.cab file, and I can't remember the name of it.

Si.
