Hi, I'm using a Nokia 6680 with TT5MV5.2. Mostly it works fine but occasionally when a voice camera warning is followed by a voice traffic direction, the 2nd voice (currently Liz) becomes a drunken bass.
My guess is that it is the processing power of the 6680, however any ideas on how to correct?

Ive only noticed that problem when i use the comedy voices but i guess its probably the processor power as you said. |

You could try reducing the burden on the hardware by altering the bmp images for the cameras, I have seen a few posts where people have resorted to flattening the images to just pure black and white, this reduces the file size considerably - Mike |

Thanks, both, for your suggestions. Mike, does the bmp have any effect with the voice in use? I'd assumed it was only read from the memory card during voice selection. But, I started getting unexplained crashes when I had 7/8 comedy voices and it is much more stable with only 3.
Similarly, do unselected POI categories affect the phones/TTM5 performance? Once again I'd assumed only selected ones, but now you've set me wondering.
Hammer, I think I'll run with the standard Jane for a bit and delete the others off the memory card and see what effect that has.
Thanks for the ideas, guys.
Regards, John |

The only way I cured this was to unselect all POIs in the "Enable/Disable POI" section - you don't need the speed cameras enabled to be warned - just select the speed cameras in the "Warn when near POI" section |
