I have tried on several occasions to post snippets of code from the iGO data.zip file but this has proved impossible due to the forum blocking the use of left and right angle brackets (lesser and greater than symbols).

Other forums allow these symbols so why not PGPSW ?

Even if these are not allowed in the body text then surely they should be allowed in a 'Code' listing.

The ability to use those symbols was removed when it became obvious that hackers were making use of them. I can't remember all the details

That's a valid reason but the solution seems to be like a sledgehammer to crack a nut. would it be possible for someone to review this and find another less limiting solution, after all most other forums allow these symbols.
