New to the forum. Please forgive me if I am asking the same old question.
Just bought TT navigator5. Have loaded it on my IPAQ but the programme will not see the Bluetooth GPS MKII which came with the kit. I have read other forums and have downloaded the V5.2 from the website which it was suggested would cure the ill - no difference. I have been through "Change Preferences" selected and configured the Tom Tom Wireless GPS. with the pre agreed key of 0000. Still not being recognised.

PDA bluetooth is on and I have a "just Right" signal. Slightly worried that the connection keeps being dropped after a couple of minutes, there appears to be no traffic over the connection when it is up.

The Bluetooth wizard has recognised the Tom Tom GPS MKII and on set up tells me that the only service to be seleted is GPS OUTPUT.

I am using the default Comms ports ( as I dont know how to change them), which are Inbound Com port 4, Outbound com port 7. I have also swithed off all other beams which I read somewhere might also be causing a conflict.

I have also had to perform soft re-sets on the PDA too frequently since the set up for my liking.

Tom Tom support site has been down for the last 24 hours and I wouldnt expect help over the weekend.

Can anyone out there help me? I am not a tecnophobe, but not an expert either and I have taken this as far as I can.

Of Course. The instructions say GPRS ready PDA with Bluetooth. Doesnt mention anything about switching it on ! Redface!

Many thanks. Looking forward to hours of not getting lost.
