Tomtom Mobile 5 running speed

I have finally got everything working on my N70, but as usual it occasionally freezes. The main point is that it runs very slowly. The update only happens every 5-10 seconds, so possibly I've then missed my turning. How smoothly should it be running, and can I do anything to change it.

P.s I've just had the phone software changed on my phone at a Nokia Service Centre. The software version is still the same, but apparantley they have changed it, to the latest. Can anyone tell me what happens on a flash upgrade.

Mine runs very smoothly... I'd say it updates 5/10 times a second at least...

What version of software are you running? I'd recommend getting it flashed to v5 generic, but it'll probably cost you

Do you have POI's Enabled? This will slow down the Display Refresh Rate, especially with a lot Enabled.

Much better to use Warn When Near.
