Anyone have definitve information as to when/how we can upgrade to Nav 6?
I've received (in the last 10 mins) a TomTom Newsletter that doesn't mention Nav 6 but has an upgrade link for GO, GO 300, GO 500, GO 510, ONE (it's the same as the link on http://www.tomtom.com/.
I've read here that there will be upgrades and also that there will not be upgrades - simply buy the porduct again. Forgive my criticism if it's felt invalid, but for a community (PGPSW) with so many people indicating they have a 'direct line to TomTom', the standard of definitive information here is appalling! Here's hoping someone can resolve the confusion! _________________ iPhone 4/4S (iOS 5.1.1); TomTom Western Europe (1.10)/USA & Canada (1.10); CoPilot for iPhone (8), UK mapping, Mac OS 10.8/XP Pro/Win7; Tongue firmly in cheek!
I've used TomTom products for several years (going back to when they used to call themselves PalmTop) and they've always provided an upgrade path at a very reasonable rate and not too long after the full price product has been made available.
There's obviously no guarantee that they will do the same this time, but I'd be very surprised if they didn't.

Unfortunately, we can't tell you what TomTom haven't yet told us. AS soon as we know, you'll know.
Thanks Tim, and of course I feel guilty now for my original criticism
Any chance the 'team' could go to the nice people at TomTom and say
'Hey, we beta test for you; we give you valuable feedback. We also represent a very vocal (annoyingly so!) minority of dedicated owners (we're probably the equivalent of a 'fan club'), and they're driving us nutz demanding to know what you're doing about upgrades - please give us something we can tell them, because it's hard for us, your friends, to defend you when so much of what you do/say seems contradictory'.
Of course you might choose to rephrase what I'm suggesting! :P
