Hi,
I helped my friend load the speed camera databases onto his Navman 520 last night. When he left the house all appeared to be OK and he called me when he arrived home at 11.00 pm to say that it was working OK on his journey. However he has called me this pm to say that all the special and redlight cameras have disappeared from the list of POIs. He admits that he was "playing about" with the Navman and had unticked the Activate boxs. he now claims that these boxes no longer appear in the list of POIs and so cannot be activated.

As I know really nothing about the Navman and was just following the installation instructions I would like to know if any other user has any advice to offer as to what might be the problem.

Answering my own problem here.
My friend talked hiself coming round this morning. Made me reload all the individual databases. [I noticed that some of the original names of the files on the Navman had been corrupted but suspect that is another issue]

After the first reload there were still problems with some not being displayed and/or not wanting to be activated. Reloaded them again. Still problems. Eventually I got the Navman manual and read up on how it deals with POIs. Blow me is there not a maximum number of customised databases of 25!! There are 24 camera databases and he has many others. Once the number was reduced all appeared to be OK when he left 5 hours alter.

Also found that the Navman does not want the file names to include the 0 zero
