Go 710 Simultaneous handsfree & data connection ?

New tomtom 710 arrived, updated with latest software, V happy. However after setting up connections with my mobile, Nokia 6310i it seems that I can either have a permanent data connection for traffic updates etc or a handsfree connection, but not both at the same time, i.e. If the tomtom is connected to my mobile for handsfree use when I try to connect for traffic info I get "could not establish a wireless data connection". Is this an issue with the tomtom or the 6310i? Any advice would be most welcome.

I suspect the problem may be with your 'phone.

I run an ageing Sony Ericsson T68i. It can only manage a single Bluetooth connection at a time i.e. a data link (e.g. for traffic) OR a voice link but not both.

As the T68 is officially not compatiable with my Go 700 I'm not too worried and just have to remember to turn off the GO when a voice call comes in so I can answer it on my bluetooth headset (the Go won't play ball when it comes to voice on the T68).

Have you checked the 'phone compatability list on tomtom.com/phones?
