Anyone know why I cant get my 510 to update to V6.11 ??
Stuck on 6.120 (6690/060420)OS:1144
Forgive me i'm new to all this. |

Where are you reading the information from, Your PC display or the un-docked 510?
I got caught on that one. When using it through the PC the display shows the version running on the PC not the one on the unit. I have not found a way of updating the PC application.

Are the firmwares available seperately ? as they were on the GO x00's.
Or is it only available thru HOME ? |

Fluke I'm having the same problem here with my 510. Using TTHome to update (and I always check for updates and run them as and when they show up), yet my Tom Tom unit still shows firmware of 6.02.
Rang Tom Tom Support and they said a new version of TT Home was due out today to iron out bugs, and I shoiuld install that and try again to update. If not, call them back...
Weird. |

I have found the problem :D
It was operator trouble 
I was not installing the update that was sitting in the main window (Middle)
I right clicked it and it said it was 6.11 so installed, how stupid do I feel  |
