Travelling through France, Switzerland to Italy, help please

Travelling through France, Switzerland to Italy will be using the phone to contact friends in Italy and my daughter who is travelling with me while in Italy. What is the cheapest method of using the phones, both 6630's on Orange.

Also will be using tomtom to navigate, have the main roads through Europe maps and the Italy maps, is there any way to synchronise tomtom on the phone with say autoroute on the PC? It’s a pain trying to do an itinerary using the mobile phone.

Lost means that you can plot an Itinerary on Autoroute on the PC. Save it as an AXE File. Then convert it to an ITN File with ITNConv.exe, that TT can read as an Itinerary.
