I have an Acer N35 with
OS: Windows Mobile 2003 Premium Edition.
Processor: Samsung S3C2410 at 266 mhz
RAM: 64mb
ROM: 32MB flash
I'm relatively new to this site (posting anyway) but I have been a follower for years.
I installed the new software succesfully, started at the screen of which location, chose english UK, chose the voice I wanted, and then it popped up no maps found. But I have downloaded every file needed onto my PDA. And the pain is you can't get past that screen to tweak it! Any ideas guys, I really need help, because it is bugging me! |

You cannot use v4 maps with TomTom 5.21 - you need to purchase newer maps. _________________ Lutz

Does it find the maps if you do a soft reset of the PDA? I have this problem with an iPaq 3830 and I have to soft reset it for it to see the maps - I think it's something to do with how the PDA mounts the SD card but I can't pin it down.

I have figured it out - it's down to SD card compatibility - I changed my SD card from a chep one to a Kingston and it finds the maps 100% every time.
