I've got an out of warranty 300 and the battery appears to have failed.
It takes no more than half a charge after 2-3 hours and goes flat overnight when switched off.
Apart from Apexlaptops and Satnav shop (both of whom I'm awaiting a quote) are there any others who do this repair?

I seem to remember from my earlier days on this forum that one of the moderators (?) runs a business that can undertake repairs, But sorry (senior moment!) I can't remember who it is.

But he's not taking any new repairs until 15th August acording to his contact page. |

We have some in stock, but won't be able to fit them before the 15th of August because our surgeon is on holidays  |

Thanks for that Eldar. The only problem is that I will have forgotten all about it by !5 Aug :D :D Perhaps I should rely on good old paper and pen :D :D
