favourites in Garmin nuvi 300

Is there any quick and easy way of removing all locations in FAVOURITES located in MY LOCATIONS. I recently downloaded latest speed cameras, then I went to Favourites and there are now a host of locations that I didn't set up. I can only seem to be able to clear one at a time, unless I am prepared to clear all POIS as well. I thought that might then clear all my speed camera warnings if I did so. Any help would be appreciated - I am a novice in these matters !!

I don't believe you can remove all 'Favourites' in one go. Unlike 'Recent Selections' there isn't a 'Clear' button that allows you to delete them all in one hit.

I am surprised that you've found entries in 'Favourites' without having specifically saved them there. Normally you have to hit 'Save' which is followed by a 'Saved To...' prompt for a location to be saved to 'Favourites'

Presumably you used the POILoader to download the speed camera database to your Nuvi so I would have thought they should have been saved to just 'Custom POI's'


Are the locations you appeared in 'Favourites' speed camera sites ?

Do you also have speed camera data in a 'Custom POI's' folder ?
