Dead after soft reset

I recently installed TT Nav5.
It has been working fine for some time (till i soft restarted my pda). The red hands appear in the bottom right corner but the rest of the screen doesn't appear. What can I do ?
I already reinstalled TT, it was working ok, till sofr reset and then same story...

JasJar (XDA EXEC), OS Windows 05, installed on storage card (all voices, maps, everything).

- delete the cfg file
- do NOT use the WM5 serial port splitter
- use COM8 when creating the outgoing port (no encryption)

couldn't find this cfg file. where it should be?
i do have gps on com8.

cfg file is in the map folder AND in the application folder.
