Best place to obtain POI files ?

I've been hunting around a few websites which supply POI files and I'm confused as to where the best place to get them from is

I decided to use Tesco's as a yardstick, and found that there are large differences between the POI files held on each site, e,g

pocketgpsworld.com - 312 entries

poihandler.com - 724 entries (although some of them seem to be duplicates, e.g Axminster)

poiplace.oabsoftware.nl - 430 entries (no names though, so not easy to check for duplicates)

poidownload.co.uk - 127 entries

Obviously more may not necessarily be better, and I'd rather have quality over quantity, but you can see why I'm a bit confused.

So, where do people go to get their POIs from ?

have you tried poi handler and poi place

the poi files are compiled from people putting together there own lists of pois and alowing them to be used by other freely so for example a jeep dealer in the uk by one person aand the same one by another could have different numbers of entries they only may have putt the jeep dealers in areas were they visit on a regular basis. this would explain the differn ce in different files from different sites
