If I plug my SD card from my Mio 168 into my card reader and XP PC, I can read the data.

However if I add new items from my PC using the card reader they don't show up when I plug the card in to the Mio..

What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks

Is the card write protected. There is a little slider tab on the side - sliding it downwards ("lock") means you cant write anything on to it.

No the card isn't write protected.

I can copy files to it and they are visable from XP, but not from the PDA !!

Any chance the file attribute is set to "hidden"? On the PC right click on the file and select properties.

Not changed anything apart from I decided to do a Hard Reset and remove all the 'crap' from the PDA.

Now I can use the SD in XP and read it on the PDA !!

Thanks
