TTN5 on Palm TX vs Mio P350/P550

Are there any significant differences between the way that TTN5 runs on a Palm TX when compared to a Mio P350 or P550 ?

I've done a lot of searching and I've found various issues with all three (memory heap on the Palm, build quality on both Mio's and poor reception on the P550) but I havent seen anything which does a direct comparison of how tomtom itself runs. This maybe because its exactly the same but I cant find anything which says it is.

I dont want to spend more than £350, and these seem to be the best PDA options which include TTN5 for that sort of budget. I want to use it when walking and cycling as well as in the car, possibly with topographical software, hence the preference for a PDA over a Go, and also the preference for one with either built-in GPS or a Bluetooth connection

Finally, will itinerary files saved on one platform work on the other; i.e can someone with a PocketPC exhange routes with someone with a Palm ?
