6680 more reliable than N70 ?

really pee'd off with my N70 locking up and/or losing bluetooth signal

or should I consider an alternative phone ?

Yep by a mile from my experiences.Not sure what alternatives especially with the newer phones but you cant go wrong with either the 6630 or 6680 with tomtom.

so you have the latest firmware 5.06 and it still locks up?

So there is no need for me upgrade mine then? I have version 2.0536.0.2

has anybody cured the locking up on the nokia n70??

what phones do ppl use, that work well with tomtom??

the latest firmware was on 15/06/06 and is revision 5.0616.2.0.3

I wonder if that versionm cures it? ne1?

I still use my trust 6630
problem is my contract is up soon, and they want to offer me a new phone.
Now with all the hassle you guy's are having with the newer Nokia's, I think I will just sell whatever new phone they send me, and continue with the 6630
Or is there a particular phone that you guy's would reccommend, N70 I think NOT

n70 with the latest firmware works well with tomtom, seems different networks have different firmware versions, none the less, I went to carphone warehouse today, and said i was having trouble with tomtom and n70, they ok we will flash the firmware to the latest version, then i told them the phone was thailand, they had blank looks, oh sorry we cannot (why because they get paid for it!!!) but they could have!!!!, i would have paid the

The point is any phone under warranty can have a firmware upgrade if certain software is not working properly, ie the tomtom bluetooth connection, clearly a nokia fault. FREE of charge, and the centre i went to, was going to do it there and then (being widweek is good, weekends forget it).

So I contacted Nokia, and told them my issue, they said, I would have to take the phone back to thailand to get the firmware updated. what a complete load of gonads, why the hell did they say that??, i dunno, maybe because the phone was bought unlocked, and that i did not return the warranty card, who the feck does! so now i will have have send phone off and pay 15 squid for the upgrade of firmware.

Other than that I am really please with the phones overall performance.

and i repeat the phone works with the LATEST firmware (16th June) with tomtom
