I hope I'm not asking the same question again. I have just got the 910 and cannot get it to connect to my S/E W810 to download taffic data. It works fine on the telephone, but I have tried for the past 3 hours to set it up and have no hair left! If someone has the settings could you help please, other wise it a nice unit. John |

Tony I tried that this afternoon, but still it does not work. I have even reset the unit and still nothing. The hands free connects first time every time and it will even disconnect the handsfree before trying to use the modem then the phone screen states connecting then after about 10 seconds screen on phone states failed. I'm currently about to throw the unit in the pond!!!!!!! (only kidding) John |

Sounds like you have restrictions on your phone so phone your contractors and ask if there is any restrictions on your phone contract whit regards to useing internet i had this with mine through o2 and thay had to release 2 files to my contract for it to work.Dont let them fob you off saying it dont work tell them your mates dose.
Also remove your phone form the TT and TT from your phone then start again it should pick it up stright away if you got no restrictions |

If you phone the service provider they will activate the GPRS on request (assuming you are on contract, pay as you go can be somewhat more difficult), certain settings will be sent to the phone, then the GPRS will work.
Please bear in mind the cost asociated using GPRS, if unsure please check as some service providers will charge £3 per MB, which is extreamly expensive (you don't want an £80 charge on the next bill dropping through the letter box, and this is based on experiance) - Mike |
