icn 330 not working

have just been given a navman icn330
when you try to use says no map data
does the card need to be reflashed
or is it prob with satnav

I'm having the same trouble. Just bought a Navman iCN 330, it gets a good signal, and seems to read the SD card okay – but if you click on any menu button it comes up with 'No map data available'. It's brand new, so what's the problem? Is it something wrong with the card or the files?

Please please please pretty please someone help me, very frustrated....

Turn off (little slide switch, not the button on the front), remove the card and re-insert it. Turn it on.

If that doesn't fix it, the card or the data on the card is stuffed, and so is the 330, unless you can get a new card. The problem is the maps are locked to the serial number on the SD card, so just copying files won't work.

Return the unit to the retailer as it is faulty.
