StreetPilot C310 Maps

Hi, can anyone tell me what maps the C310 uses (i.e. Tele Atlas, Navteq etc)? A friend of mine is thinking on buying one of these but would like to have a device that works well in the UK and Ireland.

I know that the Tele Atlas maps that TTN 5 uses are crap in Ireland so am I right in saying he needs a device that uses Navteq mapping as this is currently the only company who has Ireland fully covered?

Any advice welcome.
