Hello i'm new to the forums and was suggested to come here for help. I have a problem with my i3 which only occurs if i use a firmware version higher than 2.5. i have been able to use POI's on firmwares up to and including 2.5 but if i go over 2.5, they no longer apper on the device. i have used all the latest drivers and POI loader but i cannot get the POI's from http://www.MaFt.co.uk/garmin/download.htm to work on a firmware higher than 2.5. Help would be much appreciated.

PS. I have also tried reformating the memory card.

Welcome to the forum Matt,

load the following http://www.creely.talktalk.net/StreetPiloti3_270.exe on to your I3 this software is the last of the firmware that is without faults.

When loaded put Mafts poi's back on to your I3 has the problem gone or is it still present Question

The poi's are only usable for navigation (located in custom points) and do not show on the maps otherwise.Garmin were of the opinion that the mapping would be saturated with poi's so are not shown unless selected as a destination.

Unsure as to what you mean by reformatting your memory card are you sure you have done this Question and if you have has all the software been put back on to it (this is someting that should not be entered into lightly and requires a card reader)
