I'm a new and not very happy owner of a Tom Tom 510 (the second in 4 days) which is my first GPS. Since in addition to Tom Toms subscription my mobile supplier wants £8 per month to enable GPRS using the inbuilt camera database looks pretty expensive.
To my question
All the info about loading tom tom go either refers to the '00' series or predates the launch of the '10' series. Can I delete the camera database on the 510 and install the 'pocketgps' files following the on site instructions for tom tom go?
Sorry if the question seems (or is) stupid put it down to senile decay.

Yes, you can, after taking a backup of course. The database here is more accurate that the TT one, and cheaper to subscibe to.
