Hi, have just purchased a nuvi 360 from rankhour.com . Could anyone let me know what version of the maps installed on the unit would be there or will it vary.

It's a brand new unit, released since the last Garmin map update (to v8). Given Garmin's next map update won't be until the end of the year / start of next year, all units (310 and 360) will come with v8.
