I have a new sony clie NX80V/U it runs on the new palm 5.0 software and I bought cables to hook it up to My garmin 48 GPS from PC Mobile. I have been trying to find a maping system that will work with this set up but I'm getting confused on all the compatibility stuff (I haven't found any thing that said specificaly that it will work with the NX series Clie and palm 5.0). Are there any maping packages out there that will work with this set up? And will any of them take advantage of the high res screen? Also with out any software for the PDA what should I be able to do by hooking up the two together? Can I vew GPs data on the sony screen? or transfer waypoints into it? I have the GPS inNMEA mode 0183 2.0 and 4800 baud. Any one that has some good advice for me would be greatly appreciated.

You may want to check Mapopolis.com . They offer a navigator for the Palm OS 5 devices

Thanks I have cheked it out a nd a few others now as well. Mapopolis is a good program and hooking my garmin into it works with the software. i found that street finder also wroks with palm 5 and I like it's layout and over all looks better but i can't get the GPS to run with it.

Does any one know if there are any good aviation or marine maping software that would be good to check out?
