TomTom at the Edinburgh Show - The Mount Issue

Spoke to several TT bods at the Pocket GPS show in Edinburgh. First one denied the mount issue existed. The phrase I used was B*ll*cks! Away he toddled to get someone else.... The next guy, apparently the 'real' TT guy confirmed they did know about it and were attempting to resolve it. Even he used the 'drooping' mount phrase.

Other than an exchange or refund no solution at present. I did suggest Viagra! If you have such a problem at least log it with TT. The more that do, the sooner it will be resolved.

Hopefully a Brodit solution will be released that will enable mounting away from the windscreen. It'll get the kit out of direct sunlight and reduce heat issues. I'm convinced that a contributory issue is when the mount gets hot the 'ball' slips.

I had no issues for 1 week, then warm weather arrived, droop, it got cold again and it improved a little. Hmmm....
