Dell Aximx30 problem

I have TomTom Navigator5 installed on my Dell Axim x30 and use a cable GPS with it.

Lately, I've found that when driving TomTom exits completely and returns to my home screen. Then, when I try and reopen TomTom, it says no GPS device and exits again. It can do this a few times before it starts working again.

Sometimes, i can drive for hours and it will work fine, other times it will not work for 60% of the journey. What is also strange is that it happens EVERY time I go past a certain point in Laindon in Essex - exactly the same spot every time so wonder if it's something to do with the signal?

Has anyone had this problem and is there a way around it??

If it ALWAYS happens at the same geographical point it looks like a map problem rather GPS as the signals from the GPS constellation is constantly changing.

You could try reloading the map in case it has been corrupted.

If you have GB and GB Plus try using the other one.
