Hi All,
This is my first post so I apologise is this is in the wrong category.
I have an old HP iPaq 2210 which I recently installed TT 5.21 on (rather than sell the thing on eBay )
One thing that I have noticed is that when, for example, browsing the map and searching for an address (or just searching in general) it is not possible to browse the address database. By this, I mean that by default it shows the recently accessed cities, and if you select one of those it shows the street that you previously selected, etc. etc. It is possible to start typing a new street name in that city and find matches that start with the same letter as you have typed, but is it possible, for example, to simply browse the streets within a city for which you have previously already selected a street. This issue is also the same for cities, but less important to me.
I would like this function since, sometimes (as you know), you can forget things / places / etc. and just need your memory nudged or just want to browse.
Also, is it possible to turn the keyboard off on some of these menus since, once I have entered regular items that I will use, the keyboard will be needed less often?

Yes, just type an A and you can start scrolling from the top.

I don't believe there is a way to do this in the navigation mode. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

I just tried that and unfortunately it only displays streets beginning with A
Yes, sorry. I should have gone on to say then type in a B etc.
You could always use Recent Destinations but the one you want could have disappeared off the bottom of the list.
You could save destination as a favourite. Or maybe use Itinerary, you won't need waypoints, and save it for future use.
Not ideal but it would do more or less what you want. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property
