Hi.. I have tomtom3 on my HP Jornada 520. It all works brilliantly apart from I can only install via Infrared! I have a card reader and a 256mb CF card, but when i install it on the card, TT does not see it!? Any ideas? Do i need to upgrade to 3.02 or 3.07? Which i have both of..

When i use TT to copy it to the card with card reader, it just makes a folder. When i do it via infra red it puts a cfg file on the pda root folder.

Thanks!

Neil :P

I got the PDA of family member, did not have a cradle, and I cant find the serial cable.. Its the 525 I think, and it is only serial I am led to beleive.. I have ordered new cables for it, but I am going away tomorrow and wanted to put whole GB map on, but will take many many hours via infrared. Frustrating as it only takes seconds with card reader..

you can install the map via a card reader just install the app via irda or if you right click the set tt set exe and extract the files you shuld be able to get a the cab files copy these to the card and you sould then be able to install nav3 via the cf card just make them read only on the pc before copying them to the card
