I have recently uploaded some custom POIs to my i3 and I have a lot of errors in my data (incorrect lat and long conversion so all points are in the wrong place!) Can anyone please tell me how to delete Custom Points?
Thanks, Dave

Just upload the correct ones. Any POI's already there are automatically deleted when you upload some more.

Thanks Derek, but presumably that works on a name match does it? As I want to reformat some of the names also, unless I add waypoints with identical names the originals will not be deleted, or will they?! Can't I just flush the lot out of the database so that I can start fresh. I'd even accept deleting one by one but can't even seem to find an option for this... Thanks again, Dave.

It does a complete delete before it uploads the new ones so you will be fine.

Nick.

I have a Garmin c310.
When I try to upload the database (indeed any POI's)
I get the message on the lines " ... too many files (or the database is too large), to go onto the c310. Please remove some files and try again..."
I delete a few files and exactly the same!
So...
How do I delete the database/POI's from the c310 to make room for the later(updated) database/POI's???

Any help would be most appreciated
ta muchly in advance

Further to my earlier post...
After soem research and invaluable assistance and links from MaFt
I have managed to get some POI's onto the c310. I got hold of the latest version of Firmware (5.10), and re-attempted a poi installation. It worked!
What that's got to do with it, I honestly don't know, as millions of people must have managed it prior to me so ... ?????? ME Dumbo??? I dunno!
