Copied this over from the Subscriber forum......

Spotted a 'sneaky' mobile camera on a road in N.Wales on Saturday, which wasn't on the actual road it was monitoring.

The road in question turns sharp half right with a minor road going straight on. The mobile unit was actually postioned on the minor road looking up the main road.

If I report the postion on the minor road and is then included in a future database then as the position is not acutally 'on route', then we will not be warned of it's approach ?? Is this correct ?

Therefore, should I report the position to be on the corner of the main road, rather than the minor road. ?

Yes.

It's best to set up as 'warn when near' rather than 'on route', otherwise you'll get no warning of cameras in the position you mention or those on bridges.

I'd suggest not, as if someone has given the correct position and you a different one, it could show as two cameras.
