Why buy Globalsat 338

I am just about to buy a receiver for my Dell Axim 51 PDA. Why should i choose Globalsat 338 over the Holux 236 slim. I am a beginner so any info or advise gratefullly received

So long as you're buying a GPS with the essential Sirf-III chipset (which both are), I would just buy based upon price. The Holux has some additional features (which you probably won't need), so could be a slightly better buy if the price is the same.

Both have been out long enough for any problems with their firmware to have been ironed out. Best to buy from a volume seller over the internet, where the firmware is more likely to be up-to-date.
