Having followed closely the questions and remarks in this forum, one of the most common is that of the UK postcode. Does your SatNav model handle 7 digits, or can it only handle 5? I’m assuming that most people will program their journey before they leave home. In that case, if your SatNav can only handle the 5 digit postcodes then the most accurate way of programming it, is to use Multimap.com. Enter the 7-digit postcode of your destination into Multimap, read off the Lat. and Longitude values, and then enter these into your SatNav’s POI. I have a Mio 269 plus and this technique gets me round the Mio’s limitation of 5-digit postcodes. I hope that someone will find this useful.

With the Go-x10 range you get the option of direct enter of Lat/ Long as well as full post code support, I know this may sound strange, but on a recent trip we had no postcode but did have the Lat/ Long, the unit took us to the door - sometimes it is handy to have both options avail on the same system, IIRC a different product we had in the same vehicle (Navigator6) also has this method of nav to Lat/ Long - Mike
