Adding new sounds to POIs

Hi , I'm new to all this and I want to delete a couple of the sound fx on
myTT700 (running 5.44) and add 2 new ones that I have created.
My question is what file type do I need to make and then how do I load
them onto the TT.

If you want to mess around with the sound wanings the file is the data.chk file, it contains the 15 individual warning sounds.
To "cook" your own file have look at POIExtend from http://www.tomtomsatnav.info/poiw.html the version that you need is POIW1,0G make sure you have backed up your device fully before messing around just incase something goes wrong.
Your revised warnings need to be in the .OGG file format, so if you have them as mp3 or .wav type you need to convert them to OGG - try Google for a conversion programe.
Finally read through the instructions on using the POIExtend utility as mentioned above, it looks daunting at first but in reality it is quite easy to use - Mike
