Mio A201 with the BT patch

Can anyone else who has installed the new Bluetooth patch help with this? Activesync and all local Bluetooth functions now work OK but i'm having real trouble with the internet connection via GPRS.
I'm using a Sony Ericsson K700i and using the Vodafone network. I can make a successful GPRS connection to the network which is confirmed by "Connection Established" being shown on the handset together with the GPRS globe symbol. Then, using Internet Explorer, any URL results in "Locating..." being shown at the bottom of the browser window for about a minute before a message comes up saying "The page cannot be downloaded because the connection was lost".
Also tried logging into Hotmail via Pocket MSN once the connection has been established and I get kicked off with invalid sign in.
Vodafone tell me the settings in the phone have nothing to do with this problem and that it's a PDA settings issue. I'm now at a complete loss as to what to check next so any thoughts or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Sorry I can't help as you are one step further ahead than me. I tried the patch but couldn't get it to install properly and so still have bluetooth connection problems.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?.
Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
