Is the latest tom tom 5 update (5.2)worth installing ? or is it just cosmetic ?

I will type slowly so that you will understand IS THE LATEST TOM TOM 5 NAVIGATOR 5.2 UPDATE WORTH INSTALLING ON MY iPAQ 2210 OR IS IT JUST A COSMETIC FIX ?

If you install the latest version it will install TTN5,21 (Build 5431) this is not compatable with any of the spoken voice warnings - I have tried and gave up, to get this to work you need TTN5,21 (Build 5430) - Just thought this might be a useful tip - Mike |

Thanks Mike, as usual a prince among men when we need answers , reading between the lines from what you say stick with 5.1 as not a lot of difference in 5.2

i have just had athought mike could i download the tom tom update straight onto my pda and install as i have sent this reply from my pda via a wifi card.and i supose i could get oto there site with my pda |

Well you could try but I don't think this will work at all, if you get to the TomTom download page the PDA enters a loop continually trying to open the page (just tried), if you did get this to open correctly the next problem is to install it - this needs either Active Sync via the PC or CAB files created by the PC so I do not think you will get this to work.
