Help! Medion PNA175

Hi

I have a medion pna175 running 4.4 navigator.
Yesterday my mate brought his 5.1 navigator software down to replace my 4.4 version.
We loaded all the install files and map files to the storage card as described in the manual and done a hard reset.
The machine loaded the new 5.1 software and the maps and then we started to have some problems.

1 when switching the pna175 on,no menu appears with the settings,Navigation and mp3 icons the system goes straight into the navigation.
The unit will find all places typed into the menu and does connect and work ok until you quit.Unfortunatley instead of going back to the first menu with your settings/navigation and mp3 icons it goes to a gray screen,if you turn the sat nav of and then back on it only gives you a medion screen with nothing on it hence you have to soft reset it and then it goes straight back into the navigation.

Does anyone know how to sort this problem?
Any advise would be gratefully appreciated.

Problem now sorted my pna175 sat nav is working a treat now on the 5.1 navigator software.

hi mate, i want to put the same software on my pna175, do you now have the postcode and camera data base on yours,were did you get the software and did you have to activate it,or did you have a copy
