5.21 Pocket PC upgrade

Hi

I've just tried to upgrade from version 5.00 to 5.21 following the tom-tom website instructions.

I downloaded the exe to the desktop, attached my I-Mate Jam to the pc
checked Active Sync was running and then ran the exe

Got an error saying "unknown device architecture" ??

When I purchased the TT5 it came on its own SD card, which I copied across on to a 1GB card and it has been running fine.

After the error came up the transferring files screen came up and just ran and ran, so I've had to 'end task' the program to stop it.

I've checked tt and it still runs okay but still says version 5.00

any idea on the error message ?

which exe ? Setup.exe ? on the PC?

try downloading again (the ZIP version maybe) - there is a slight possibility that your download got corrupted.

thanks for your help on this one.

I downloaded the zip file, extracted the files and ran the setup.exe from there. Still came up with an error on the i-mate to do with some locked files.

Softbooted the i-mate and tried again, this time went in okay.

Checked the version and its now 5.21 -- excellent#!
