Is there a limit on the number of waypoints you can make with destinator? I have recently bought an Acer N35 with destinator. I like to stick to minor roads, so I have tried planning routes with waypoints specifying minor roads. If I don't use lots of waypoints then the software tends to lead me round the long way via major roads; however, in destinator console on my PC it seems to only allow up to 15 waypoints, which is far too few for my purposes. I can't find anywhere in the Destintor manual where it specifies a maximum number of waypoints, it just seems to happen.
Any advice appreciated. |

What version of the console software are you using on the PC? The 'about' box on 'Destinator Console' on my PC says version 3.1. It doesn't have any menu entry to import waypoints. On the Acer itself I can set more than 15 waypoints.

Thanks for your reply.
My Destinator console is 3.1 I can create a route with waypoints by clicking on a map, then "cut map" and then clicking the "route" button; but only up to 15 Waypoints.
I'm glad there is a solution in that I can do it on the PPC directly, but it's so fiddly....never mind! |
