I am in the midst of purchasing a new Nissan X-Trail and have found that it supplied with a (free) Sat Nav system. I have used a Navman iCN 630 and a Germin Nuvi 300 that I operate and I am happy with.
Unfortunately I have not yet got any information on the Nissan system nor do I know anything about TMC, can the speed carmra information be added, can I load POI's and what is best area to find what this TMC is all about. Will I have to use the Nuvi for my camers.
If you can help I would be gratefull.

I've yet to see a built in unit which supports user POIs, although I know they are coming in time.

You could look in the TMC forum in these forums for the most advice I've seen on the subject anywhere on the internet.

You may have too.

Thank you Swing for your information I thought that this would be the case. I must admit I am very pleased with speed, accuracy and easy of operation of the Nuvi, the truck route is great for the caravan. The built in screen of the X-Trail should give a better display but we will see.
Thanks for your help
