After using my GO 910, i turn it off...obvious Rolling Eyes

The other day, I noticed a high pitched whistling coming from the unit, it's only very faint, but it can only be heard when you turn off the unit.

As soon as you hit the "reset" button on the back, it stops. Perhaps it's from the battery, or the HDD so the unit can resume where it left off.

Has anyone else noticed this??!!

Cheers,

Never heard my unit do this, is it still connected to the car audio system in any way? and if so could the noise be comming from the sound system. I can just about hear the hard drive in my unit it makes a couple of clicks as it powers down, to hear it you need the unit pressed against your ear, otherwise it is silent - Mike

huh. Strange!

It's not a loud whistle, just when it's not connected to anything. In it's carry case, when i press the 910 to my ear, it is a high pitched whistle.

BUT as soon as I press the reset button, and don't turn it on it stops.

Just though it might be a serious problem.

Laughing Out Loud was honestly waiting for someone to say something along those lines.
