Am tying to get the actual Day (e.g. Saturday) to show on my PPC
(2003) on the today screen. Anyone know how it can be done?

Go to start, settings personal tab (at the bottom of the screen) select the today icon, then select Items tab and tick the Date check box press OK and date should be displayed on the desk top - Mike

Sorry maybe I didn't explain it well enough. I already have the date showing as 18 February 2006 but I wanted to show the actual day as well as the date.

Tried this myself in the past. Where you would set it is in Start - Settings, then on the System tab select the Regional Settings icon, then set the Long Date format in the Date tab to something like dddd, MMMM dd, yyyy.
However, formats including dddd are only available as an option when you use English (United States) as your region, not when you use English (United Kingdom). This is true for Windows Mobile 2003 on my iPaq 2210, you may want to double-check on whatever you're using as it may be different.

Barry,
Many thanks! I now have what I wanted BUT I had to select English(United States) to achieve it! Something wrong methinks?
