POI Voices install problems

Trying to get poi voices working.
I have v5.210/5430 & am using 5430 file,Renaming it data.chk & then renaming file in \SD-MMC Card\TOMTOM flder & uploading new file to there using usb cradle.
Tried soft reset,Removing card & replacing it but still getting original assorted bleeps etc.
Ideas anyone

The data.chk file should be installed to your Pocket PC in Program Files/Navigator and not on the SD card.
That is why you do not hear the voice file you have made.

Many thanx,Been messing about with it all afternoon,Now sorted.
Cant understand why no Gatso 70 mph voice tho.
