This is my first post. I have only been lurking around until now. I have recently purchased tomtom USA for my ppc and am very pleased so far.
I am using POIConvertor to convert some POI's from Microsoft Streets and Trips to a ov2 file. I seem to lose the Phone Numbers when I do this. I know they are there because when I save to an excel file I can find my information. Is there something I'm missing?
I looked at other threads but can't seem to find anything. Sorry if I've overlooked it.
I have also thought about bringing this information over as contact info, but this seems like overkill. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Uh, that's a long time ago. Waht was it again? Ahh, you need to include a greater than sign, and exclude the plus sign.

Thanks. That does it. It does seem odd that a few of the POIs from S&T comes over correctly with the >########## when I use POIconvertor to create the ov2. Most do not however. Must be something to do with the way the data resides in S&T. Thanks again. |

POIConverter, by default, only uses 32 characters in the Text portion. If the Text portion is longer, it gets truncated.
Before converting from .axe click the 'T' icon and set the Name Truncation to 'None(128 characters)'.
I believe you have to do this every time. _________________ Richard
