TomTom NAVIGATOR 5 GB Maps update

Hi All
This will probably be a stupid question. When installing the updates for TTN5 does this update the maps as well. if not how do you upgrade them. I have the GB map that came with the Bluetooth adapter and software.

Can anyone help?

The application update is just that, it will not update the maps, to do this costs money, information can be found on the TomTom web site, check out the PLUS section - Mike

Cheers mike. i will look at that. i ahve had a look around this forum and i take it that the GB maps are at ver6** why are tomtom shipping the software with version 562 map
