My PNA100 went on the fritz and won't boot, it flashes the powerbutton red, but doesn't answer to both a soft and a hard reset.

If I press pwr and soft reset in various combinations I get a couple of Cobra ATP or USB Firmware loadup ready messages.

It checks the SD/MMC slot and the USB cable port and if I boot it this way attached to the cable my pc sees it as a SEC S3C2410X and looks for drivers.

The point is, it won't start. Is there a way of removing the second battery too without breaking it?

Any suggestions other than taking it back to the dealer?

Thanks,
Mike.

if it doesn't answer to a hard reset then taking out the battery won't help either. Take it back - and have a good story handy when they ask how it happened...

Yes, I'm already thinking of taking it back. It probably has something to do with the SD/MMC card reader. When I replaced the original MMC with an SD it didn't find anything. When I put back it's original MMC it told me it had to format it (did I want to?).

When I finally answered yes, it sat for hours without any feedback, and when I decided to finally softreboot it would'nt answer.

On a hard reboot it died completely.

Thanks for the reply.
