Hi,

Just bought a Tom Tom One last week, I do like it so far and am impressed but on two occasions that I have had destinations going into town centres (Leeds and Preston) I have had problems.

On both occasions, everything was fine until I got within a mile of my final destination.

At that point it popped up with messages suggesting clear route, then do I want to configure my connection to my phone.

When I tried to override these messages, the device goes into a frenzied state of selecting route menu's entering numerous characters and so on.

It's as though someone has just pressed in the screen all over in different areas and it is catching up.

Is this incident isoloated, or is there a setting I need to configure.

I don't plan to connect to my bluetooth phone as I do not have GPRS running on it (company phone.).

Thanks in advance.

My second One did this and it appeared to be associated with the complexity of the route rather than the distance. Sadly the fix was to return it for a replacement Evil or Very Mad
